About RoboHousehold

A personal project that tracks the robots moving into US homes, one chore at a time. Every price and spec comes from the maker’s own pages, with the day I read it.

Who’s behind it

One person, and a personal project.

RoboHousehold is a personal project by Jack FitzGerald. I’ve worked where technology meets the built world, at Hitachi and at Lendlease.

How it’s built

With help from AI tools. Every decision is mine.

I designed and built this site with help from AI tools: Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. They help me read makers’ pages and keep the data in order.

The idea, the decisions and the way prices and specs are checked are mine, and nothing is published until I’ve approved it.

What it is, and what it isn’t

A dated record of what makers publish. Not a review site.

Every price comes from the maker’s own US store, and every spec from the maker’s own pages, each with the day I read it. The rules are on How I check.

I don’t test robots, and nothing is ranked. There is no “best” here.

Every change is dated and kept on the Changes page, corrections included.

Spot something wrong?

Tell me about a wrong price, a spec the maker states differently, or a robot I’m missing. Every message is read.
