How this site earns money
Some links to makers’ stores are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the maker may pay me a commission. You pay the same price, and it never changes what’s listed or in what order.

Which links earn
Some links to makers’ stores.
Robot pages and lists link to each maker’s own US store. Where the maker runs an affiliate program I’ve joined, that link is an affiliate link: if you buy after clicking it, the maker pays me a share of the sale, called a commission.
You pay the same price either way. The price I show is the one on the maker’s store on the day I checked, before tax and without coupon codes.
Not every maker has a program. Many humanoid makers sell only direct, so most humanoid links earn nothing.
What commission never changes
Nothing you see on a page.
Whether a link earns, and how much, has no effect on:
- which robots are listed: every robot on its maker’s own US store that fits a category is in, with or without a program
- the order: lists are not ranked, and tables are ordered by price
- filters, counts and quick picks
- the Chore Map and its statuses
- what a page says: specs are in the makers’ own words, with the date I read them
The rules for all of this are on How I check.
What I don’t do
No paid placements, no free robots, no “best”.
- No maker or store pays to be listed, moved up or described differently.
- I don’t test robots, so I don’t ask for or accept review units.
- There are no sponsored pages, and nothing here is a ranking.
If that ever changes, for example a sponsor on a future email, it will be labelled where it appears and listed on this page first.
