How this site works

RoboHousehold lists the robots you can buy for a US home, and the humanoids on the way: 33 home robots and 28 humanoids. Every price comes from the maker’s own US store or a big retailer the maker names, and every spec from the maker’s own pages, each with the day I read it.

What this site is, and isn’t

A dated list in the makers’ own words. Not a ranking, and not reviews.

It is

  • Robots on sale on their makers’ own US stores, or big retailers the maker names, priced in US dollars before tax. Where prices come from
  • Humanoids you can order today (10), kept apart from those only announced. Humanoids
  • Every spec in the maker’s own words, with the day I read it.
  • Every change public, with its date: 65 changes so far. Changes

It isn’t

  • Ranked. No list here is a ranking, and nothing is called “best”. Not ranked
  • Reviews. I don’t test robots. I read what each maker publishes, and check it.
  • Every robot. Of the 88 I’ve looked at, 53 are listed. The rest are under What I leave out, each with its reason. What I leave out
  • Outside the US. US stores and US prices only.
  • How the site is paid for: Disclosure

How to read a page

Every value carries a mark saying where it came from, and when.

  • Checked Oct 30, 2026The day I read the price on the store’s own page.
  • Maker says, Oct 20, 2026The maker’s own words, as they stood that day.
  • Not statedChecked Oct 20, 2026I looked, and the maker doesn’t say.
  • Found in FCC ID search, Nov 2, 2026A certification I found in the certifier’s own database, not the maker’s words.
  • Sale price on Oct 30A sale on that store that day.
  • Not rankedThe order of a list is not a judgement.
  • Not a picture of this modelAn illustration of the kind of robot.

The rules behind each mark are on How I check. Technical words, such as RTK or Pa, are in the Glossary: 40 words explained.

Find a robot

Three ways in: by chore, by kind, or by what fits your home.

By chore

The Chore Map shows where 16 household chores stand. Five are done today by robots you can buy:

By kind

One page per kind of robot, each with its own table, filters and prices:

By fit

Will it suit my yard? on Robot mowers checks your lawn area and slope against each maker’s figures.

Each kind’s page also ends with Straight answers: the common questions, answered by counting what the makers state. Robot vacuums, pool robots, robot mowers, window robots, humanoids.

Compare robots

Same kind only, up to three.

  • Pick a kind first. Compare puts robots of the same kind side by side, up to three, in the order you add them.
  • “Show only differences” hides the rows where they match.
  • Every value keeps its mark and date, as on the robot’s own page. Nothing is ranked.

  • Prices this week: the prices that moved on the makers’ stores at my last price check.

Spot a mistake?

Tell me which value is wrong and where the maker says otherwise. I check it against the maker’s own page before changing anything. Corrections lists every fix to what I published, with the date and the maker’s page: 1 correction so far.
