Flat, clean glass only
ECOVACS says the glass must be smooth and “free of decals or stickers, cracks, obstacles under 4 mm, or frames under 2 mm”, and the window should not be “too small, curved, or irregularly shaped”.
It also says to keep the glass “free of condensation or oil stains” and: “Do not use the robot in extremely cold or hot conditions.”

Measure your smallest pane
The smallest window ECOVACS lists is 22 x 25 cm for the mini, 25 x 25 cm for the mini 2, and 30 x 40 cm for the W2S models and the W2 PRO OMNI. The W3 OMNI page doesn’t say.
Every spec table that lists it asks for glass at least 3 mm thick.

Battery or a cord
The four OMNI models can run on battery, for up to 110 or 130 minutes, or plugged in. The other four must stay plugged in.
All eight hold on for over 30 minutes if the power cuts out, and come with a safety rope. ECOVACS sells a 1- or 2-year extended warranty on top of the standard year.
